Who can participate?
Participation is open to athletes entered through a national federation that is a member of the International Wushu Federation (IWUF).
Athletes must represent the country of their citizenship.
What competition events are included?
The Championships will feature the following disciplines:
- Contemporary Wushu (Taolu)
- Traditional Kung Fu
- Taijiquan and Taiji weapons
- Sanda (combat).
What are the age requirements?
- Taolu and Traditional Wushu: Athletes aged 12 years and older
- Sanda: Athletes aged 18–40 years
- International Invitational Championships: Athletes aged 18 years and older
How many events can an athlete compete in?
Taolu athletes may enter up to two events:
- one bare-hand routine
- one weapon routine.
When are entries due?
Registration opens on 21 March 2026. Final date of entry is 21 April 2026

What documents must athletes provide?
Athletes must submit:
- Passport details
- Medical certificate issued within 15 days before the competition
- Insurance documentation
- Signed liability waiver
- Submit final entry form with signature and stamp, and confirm the registration form
- Submit certificate of fitness and serological clearance for Sanda Athletes
What equipment must athletes bring?
Athletes must bring their own competition uniforms and weapons.
Sanda athletes must also bring red and blue uniforms, mouthguard, groin guard, and hand wraps.
Are medals awarded?
Yes. The top three athletes in each event receive:
- Gold
- Silver
- Bronze medals and certificates.
Will accommodation and transport be arranged?
Airport Pick up and Drop Off and Accommodation will be arranged for Oceania International Invitational Athletes.
Bus Shuttles to and from the ibis Styles Hotel and the Competition Venue will be scheduled on competition days.
