December 17 2010 marked the date of the AKWF’s first ‘Lifetime Achievement Award. The award, to Grandmaster Henry Sue, was proposed by the Committee of Kung Fu Queensland in recognition of a lifetime of work and commitment to Chinese martial arts by Henry. Also honoured at this function was Gavin Scott who was presented with the AKWF’s ‘Meritorious Service Award’ Gavin has been a tireless worker in Queensland especially in the area of coaching development. A full outline of the award can be viewed in the Awards section of this site.
