The recent Oceania Kung Fu/Wushu Championships has concluded Kung fu Wushu Australia’s most successful competition year. Over 180 competitors from Australia and New Zealand contested wushu, kungfu, tai chi and sanda events at the Ryde Community and Recreation centre on Sunday the 2nd of September.
KWA President, Walt Missingham, congratulated all involved in particular event organiser Alice Bei Dong Chen. Walt advised that the next Oceania event will be an invitational event and that 5 additional countries have expressed strong interest in sending teams over.
