Over 170 entries from Australia and New Zealand have been received for the 2012 Oceania Kung Fu/Wushu Championships which are being held on the 2nd September at the Ryde Community and Sports Centre.
Kung Fu Wushu Australia President commented: “To finish the year with Australia biggest ever entry for a Wushu event is a great achievement particularly when we are following on from successful events this year in Perth and Melbourne. We intend to build on this with multiple events in WA, Victoria and NSW next year as well as a Queensland event. We are committing to a larger number of events to improve both our athletes standards and the standards of our officials and we are also committing to increased equipment purchases to further enhance our events”.
