KWACT President Neal Hardy has today advised of the recognition of KWACT by the ACT Government.
Neal advised:
“Kung Fu Wushu ACT has at last been formally recognised as a Peak Body for sport by the ACT Government. This provides us with a much more secure link to Government, and will be of benefit in discussions and consultations on relevant matters.
It will mean KWACT and its members will have greater standing and we will also be able to apply for funding for appropriate activities from the ACT Government, and to raise our profile within the Martial Arts and general community.
Our recognition as a Peak Body opens the door – now we can start to work hard!”
