Kung Fu Wushu Australia is very sad to acknowledge the recent death of our President, Mr Walt Missingham. We are all grateful, beyond measure, for his enormous and successful efforts in bringing Chinese martial arts and our several sports into the mainstream.
Mr Missingham has been our President since our inception in 2012, and was President of its antecedent national bodies since 1986, with stints before then as well. He will be sorely missed.
Mr Missingham did leave Kung Fu – Wushu in a very good state, not withstanding the challenges posed by the Covid 19 pandemic, and with a clear path to a bright future.
The Board of Kung Fu Wushu Australia has appointed Mr Shao Zhou Ming as a Director, and has elected him as our new President.
