KWA President, Walt Missingham, recently attended the inaugural meeting of the new official body for Chinese martial arts (kung fu, wushi, tai chi) in South Australia.
KWSA has established in 1988 and operated as an unincorporated association and sub branch of the national body until July of this year at which time it incorporated as a public company.
Incoming KWSA President Adrian Hitch thanked Walt for his help in enabling the formation of KWSA and noted that “this was the beginning of a new era for Chinese martial arts in SA which will greatly assist in the promotion of the sport and the development of athletes, officials and instructors in SA”.
