KWA President, Walt Missingham, has today announced that the 2013 Australian Kung Fu Wushu Championships will be subject to competitors being drug tested.
Walt commented “recent positive drug tests at overseas wushu events as well as the Australian Crime Commission Report into Drugs and Organised Crime in Sport make it imperative that Kung Fu Wushu is both clean of drugs and seen to be clean of drugs, this is our first formal drug testing of our athletes
– it won’t be our last”.
